The Saint Elle in Nashville is one of the city's most well known indoor wedding spaces. I would describe the venue as a "blank slate" that each couple gets to completely customize to fit their personal tastes. Located in Downtown Nashville, The Saint Elle is a wonderful choice for anyone whose wedding guests may be traveling from out of town and want to be able to easily get to and from the venue from surrounding hotels and AirBnbs. If you are planning a wedding with a large guest list, this venue is a wonderful option. The Saint Elle in Nashville, TN, can accommodate up to 550 guests for a full-venue buyout, with seated dinner capacities ranging from 300 to 425 guests depending on how you utilize the ceremony and reception spaces. With that said, though, even a small wedding would be perfect at The Saint Elle. As I mentioned before, there are endless possibilities here.
The Ceremony space at The Saint Elle is timeless, modern and very chic. With beautiful light fixtures overhead and large windows all along the left side wall, it brings a certain feeling of glamour to the space. On the right side of the ceremony area, there are gorgeous, floor-length drapes separating the reception area from the ceremony and bringing an extra romantic element to the room.

The reception area at The Saint Elle includes both the sprawling indoor area of the venue and the partially- covered patio outside. You and your guests will enjoy the swanky bar that looks like it came out of a movie; alongside the fresh air outside while laughing at the cocktail tables. The venue is large enough to comfortably separate the cocktail hour space from the dining space, even with an open concept floor plan. There is also plenty of room to dance the night away with your loved ones. Brenna and Germán also had a grand exit at the end of their celebration, right outside on the patio.
If you're curious wether The Saint Elle's "getting ready" spaces are as beautiful as the rest of the venue, I am here to tell you that they are. The Bridal suite at The Saint Elle is well-lit, cozy and relatively spacious. There are beautiful vanity mirrors, an attached bathroom, a floor length wall mirror and a sitting area that is wonderful for bridesmaid "getting ready" photos. The Groom's suite is downstairs in the venue's basement, but dont let the word "basement" scare you. The Groom's getting ready area gives the feeling of an old speak-easy. I would definitely be sure to hire a photographer who is well-versed in flash photography if you are getting married at The Saint Elle. The grooms suite still photographs well, you just want to be sure to have flash in that setting.

When it comes to portrait locations at The Saint Elle, I have a few areas that i'd say are perfect. I utilized the bar area as well as the furniture in the cocktail area for the first few Bride and Groom portraits of Brenna and Germán. We followed those photos with a few frames in the hallway that leads from the cocktail area to the bridal suite. And of course, I also shot portraits of the Bride and Groom outside on The Saint Elle's patio. I chose these spaces for the variety of lighting and moods that they offer. The large windows in the hallway are great for a soft, light and crisp image. The indoor area by the bar is great (with or without flash) to create a moody and sexy vibe. Not only did I capture the Bride and Groom in these areas; but I also used the spaces for the wedding party photos, family photos, and Brenna and Germán's first look.

As a Nashville wedding photographer, I always enjoy the opportunity to work at The Saint Elle. I am well-versed in flash photography as well as natural light photography. I love the editorial enegry that this venue lends itself to and the way that each wedding here is completely unique.
